OVERVIEW
Kimiko is a Japanese restaurant chain operating 3 restaurants and 12 kiosks across the UK. I worked leading the creation of marketing visuals for new menu launches, promotional materials, and brand collaboration campaigns.
MINI VEGE GYOZA
Designed point-of-sale table cards for Kimiko's new Mini Vege Gyoza menu item, displayed at the counter across branches to drive add-on purchases at the point of order.
Designed digital and print promotional materials for the Ultimate Chicken Katsu Curry campaign, creating a bold and consistent in-store presence. Contributed to over 2,000 meal sales within one month.
BIRMINGHAM STORE MAP
Existing maps made store-centred wayfinding unclear, so a new local map was created for use across future promotions. Routes from the main stations and key landmarks, including green space are highlighted, with non-essential detail removed to keep the design simple and intuitive.
FRESHERS’ WEEK FLYER
A promotional flyer created in collaboration with the marketing team for Freshers’ Week, aimed at attracting new students to visit the restaurant.
The front was designed to communicate the appeal of a popular menu item in an impactful way, while the reverse clearly organised location and discount information to create a natural journey from awareness to visit.
