Kimiko A NEW POKE LAUNCH

OVERVIEW
Kimiko is a Japanese restaurant chain operating 3 restaurants and 12 kiosks across the UK. I worked leading the creation of marketing visuals for new menu launches, promotional materials, and brand collaboration campaigns.
INITIAL DESIGN
This initial concept builds on the brand’s visual identity with a bilingual headline, a clear hierarchy across headline, tagline and description, and a hero bowl on a solid background for legibility.
INITIAL DESIGN
While preserving the brand identity, the design adopts a simple, highly legible layout intended to stand out within the fridge display. The final version incorporates copy changes from the marketing team.
SOCIAL MEDIA POST
To keep the brand identity aligned with the posters and other promotions, the Social media posts also incorporate self-shot product photography, creating a more varied and engaging feed.
POKE BOWL LAUNCH TEASER
Ahead of launch, a teaser reel video captured the making of the poke bowl, shot and edited with brisk pacing and appetising close-ups to showcase the real product.
T-SHIRT DESIGN
Designed a pop illustration that reads well on fabric, featuring ingredients bursting from a poke bowl, using bold contrast and clean lines for visibility at a distance. Intended for staff uniforms to catch the eye and spark customer conversations.
